Super Nintendo World
Super Nintendo World

As a new attraction inside Universal Studio Japan, Super Nintendo World is a must visit attraction in Osaka. Situated inside USJ, this themed area is very popular for tourist and local Japanese. To avoid over crowded inside the area, you need to make reservation time to enter this Mario & Donkey Kong themed area.

Living inside game world!

Here is step by step how to enter Super Nintendo World. First you must have USJ ticket (I bought if from Klook) and register your ticket into the USJ apps. Then once you pass the entrance gate, you need to make a reservation to Super Nintendo World inside the apps. Then when the time has come, you can pass the check point to enter the designated area. In our experience, we got the entrance time at 18:20 but we were allowed to enter from 18:10. And if you want to be more immersed in the experience, don't forget to buy the Power-up Band, connect it to USJ App, and collect as many coins as you can.

Don’t forget to use Power-up Band!

Inside the area there are a lot of activities that you can do, also 2 main attractions : Mario Kart : Koopa Challenge and Yoshi's Adventure. I did not get the chance to try both since all of them had more than 120 minutes waiting time, but there were a lot of activities that I can do with the help of Power-up Band.

Super Ninendo Activities
Full of stars!

Around the whole Super Nintendo World area there are boxes with question mark sign (Question Block) where you can tap your Power-up Band several times to received some coins. Sometimes the boxes are very visible and other boxes sometimes are hidden somewhere. You can track the progress of finding the boxes from the app. It can be very additctive, I would say. And of course as you are in Japan, there are digital stamps that you can collect by doing these activities.

As everything is wrap in Mario theme, you can really immerse with the experience. It is easily a must visit place in Japan!
